lol I don't plan on putting my hand up to test it's 200-0 time. 0-200, sure but not the other way round.

Based on a heavily modified Lotus Exige S chassis... and a not so heavily modified Lotus Exige S body.

i agree with bristol. i dont want to buy something called a hennesey venom gt that looks like a lotus exige. imagine you were down the road and someone saw ur expensive venom gt and looked passed it and said to their friend, 'there goes another lotus'

which country do you live in? i live in the UK and i barely see Lotuses, so there must be an extremely unusually high number of Lotuses where you live for you to be able to say "there goes another Lotus" as if it's an every day occurrence

lol a lotus with a 1200 bhp engine? Might as well take a rocket, put it on a skateboard and strap a seat to it :)
Should be quick though

Of course it will be better than the Veyron around a track, a ZR1 is better around a track. But as a car to use every day? I doubt it.

dbehmorars, if you are going to buy a car like this then you are not going to use it every day you will have a lot of other cars this would be driven very rarely people will buy it just to say that they have a road car with 1200hp

i think we'll probably see a story next year of someone of these 3 buyer rapped around a tree. 1200hp rear wheel drive in a exige S. . . thats just asking for it

these CFD pictures are partial analyses, look at the initial condition, only the front air dam was assigned an input.

i would love to buy this car, did they shoehorn the engine into the car or dod they increase the volume of the car?

Why the negative comments? If it was so easy to put so much power in this shape, who stopped themselves from producing it?

I drive an Esprit in the San Francisco bay area and have yet to see another Lotus. There are very few imported to the U.S. The negative comments I've read seem to come from people who are unsatisfied with something, likely non-ownership of a comparable vehicle.
Yes, in the past I've felt the same way but I finally realized that when I made comments that reflected poorly on a car that those same comments reflected poorly on me, as well. Just a thought.
