I'm sorry but it's plain ugly and somewhat similar to latest Toyota Lanuch: Venza.

The styling is not working for me - particularly the front end. Looks like it's done by a dozen different designers and they all don't agree with each other...

erww....that's a ulgy piece of crap! looks like a rejected designs from Ford! look at those grill...

can't believe they wasted their sportscar developement for some shitty cars like this! what's next a pick-up truck? okay, they already have that. what were the japanese thinking?

...yeah, Honda (America) just don't get the design right with crossovers/trucks. They're not showing any fun or excitement with this kind of model. They just like to play safe, in other words: boring!!!
I have to agree that Venza is better looking, although is not a jewel.

...the Venza...like the Lexus RX is just another Camry platform beneath the skin...and this is an Accord station wagon masquerading as a crossover...but this might be the only time I say it...the Toyotas are better looking

Yuck. Thank God they don't serve up this sort of dross in Europe.
September 1, 2009 8:58 pm
yeah, funny, how in Europe Honda models are actually good looking imo, while in US they are, well.....

Can someone please explain to me WTF is going on with the car industry right now? I see these new designs and think to myself who the hell is sitting in a board room thinking these rolling vomit hatches are a good idea? Better yet who looks at similarly disproportionate, controversial and somewhat ugly panamera and says " yea make ours look like that!!"

Looking at this reminds me of the fetal position. They're scared and have lost their minds. And it's not as if the current accord is a thing of beauty either.

Well IMO you have to look squarely at Government Regulators for "Safety", particularly in and FOR the USA as it is the largest car market, so what the US wants it gets and so does the rest of the world!..
I guess you know that from the start MY2003 (for memory) all new cars not already in production had to have the following, a 3 inch "AIR" gap between Hood and engine, then a huge gap between the passengers head and top roof or windscreen rail (so they won't hit their precious head IF THE HAVE NO SEAT BELT ON!!), I am serious this is now a design rule, the next is MY2011 and rear end crash requirements, bigger and thicker looking rear ends, look at the 2010 Mazda 3 sedan and new KIA's to get an idea.
SO, given that as a designer you have to have this tall Hood, A pillar and now C pillar area, the smaller the car the more UGLY they look, extra large cars don't look as bad.
SO, there you have it, you try and design a car with just some of these 'Design" requirements by law...it is a bloody nightmare.

haha , the ugliest honda i have ever seen in my life, im no longer a honda fan, i decide to switch my love to Nissan- Infiniti, or even suzuki

I have not heard one nice comment about this upcoming a piece of *beep* !%@!!!#@##$&$&%$&# Honda. LOL Should their designers surf more in forums like these and actually LISTEN?!?
If Honda doesn't catch up quickly enough, they'll taste Korean BBQ very soon.

The designer of this car should be forced to answer difficult questions while his tonsils are tickled by the barrel of a loaded .44 magnum.
September 2, 2009 4:49 am
First the X6 atrocity & now CUV? I wouldn't want to be seen in one of these! Where do these designers graduate from?

you guys will be in shocked one more time when honda releases their stupid ugly shiet Acura ZDX , another turd on steroid. Honda USA please stop this game , we want no more cars from you.

This car... no way i can sugar-coat this... is one of the most aesthetically challenged vehicles i have seen in my life (in simple words its ugly)
However, we have no guarantee what it will be like as a machine. Hondas have a reputation generally for reliability, value for money etc. and im sure this car will come with alot of kit as standard etc.
So wait till its driven before delivering full judgement
