The interior is from the new Megane. So I presume this is the new, larger Megane sedan, but rebadged Fluence.

True. In the previous generation they also had a Megane sedan... It was a bad looking version of the car. And this new one continues tradition...

The Fluence is basically the sedan version of the Megane, but with its own (more conventional?) nose.
It appears to be using the extended wheelbase (2702mm) platform of the Renault Megane Sport Tourer (station wagon).

Good one. But you never know. It would be a strange way for Renault to return to the US market.

it doesn't look like that concept car at all. what they didn't tell us is that this is the megane saloon. given a choice, i'll get the desirable megane hatch anyday

F.Y.I. pals, these segment is specifically designed mostly for Turkey, to be sold mostly on fleet basis, for the car rental companies and for the salesman fleets of the big companies. I must say that Renault is doing so great in the Turkish market with such silly sedans.

Front end reminds me of Renault 10, which isn't that bad, but simply doesn't match the rest of the car.

Why didn't renault use this design on the rather too-bland Megane 5 door? Sometimes their reasoning fails to amaze me... Same thing with the Storia... nothing more than a redesigned Dacia Sandero instead of a proper Clio Saloon.

This car looks ok, but it has nothing to do with the great concept-coup? Fluence

It looks like Renault is going back in time, not forward :S they could do alot better!
