When the first pictures of the Citroën DS3 were released, many of us were left wondering what a convertible version would look like. Wonder no more.

Dubbed the DS3c, the renderings show a sexy MINI-inspired drop top with a traditional canvas roof. While the images are pure speculation, it's not hard to see the possibility of production since our spies have already caught a three-door DS3 undergoing testing.

As we have previously reported, the DS3 will be offered with two diesels and three petrol engines. The diesels have outputs of 90 bhp and 110 bhp, while the petrol units produce 95 bhp, 120 bhp and 150 bhp.

Look for the DS3 to be officially unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show, with sales beginning in March 2010.

The Bugatti Atlantic is the best looking car from France, no question. Which car is the best depends on your criteria. Citroën DS, Citroën SM, Citroën 2CV, Renault Alpine, Bugatti Veyron, Peugeot 205 T16, Citroën Traction Avant, Facel Vega ... all are fantastic cars in their own right, and difficult to compare.
