At the Frankfurt Motor Show, stand B18 in Hall 5, Wiesmann will build a car live for everyone to see. It will broadcast the assembly through a webcam on Auto Motor Und Sport's website. The German magazine is the media sponsor for this special event. The other partner is Festool and they will supply the tools needed for the task at hand.
"This way we will be able to show our manufacturing skills and our productive efficiency to the exhibition-visitors, the customers, and the media-exponents," says business manager Friedhelm Wiesmann. "Like in Duelmen everyone can take a look at our work in Frankfurt."
The car in question will be the GT MF4 which uses a BMW-sourced 4.8-litre V8 for its 270kW (367hp). Two Wiesmann staffers will be the ones completing the work while the motoring world watches.
Apart from the GT MF4 an MF5 Roadster will be revealed at stand B18. All the logistics leading up to the exhibition are currently being finalised at the Duelmen factory.
