This is looking like the worst kept secret of 2009.
Question is, how are they going to get rid of Kimi? He still has a year to run on his contract.

I think they are better off with Kimi. Just build him a good car and he will win !

"Massa's father Luiz Antonio has told Spanish radio Onda Cero that Alonso is a "great driver" who would make a good teammate for his son" hahahahaha, Alonso just got lucky for his first title.
Kimi will go to WRC, better championship than F1 & more fun, while Alonso will move in Ferrari & Loeb might come in one of the Redbull teams.

kimi to go to the new fiat rally team. that will be ferraris offloading

So they're gonna dump a former World champion, who has proven he can still get on the podium in an inferior car, for a guy who's never won the championship? (Massa, not Alonso).

raikkonen vs alonso sounds like senna vs prost. and then put michael as your official substitute test driver. come on ferrari, your car will be light years ahead of everyone!

Felipe hasn't won the title but would have with consummate ease were his F2008 car reliable. He was the most consistent driver last year and was robbed of a deserved title - However, the record books show Lewis Hamilton won.
Besides Kimi has more than once looked uninterested and has had some races were you forget he is even there - He is on a nice run now though.

Well said Paul... last year Massa showed what he?s worth, his speed and consistency were by far the best of all men on the grid. Too bad the reliability of his car and pit crew were not because that surely cost him the wolrd title.
In any case, I expect Ferrari to leave things as they are right now, pending Massa?s recovery of course.

Two Latins very agressive movefrom the big Boss Ferrari
i like it !!

Luca himself said that Alonso and Raikkonen wouldn't make a good pair, I don't see them working together. It's like having two problem Children in the same house. It'll be a disaster. One driver's busy eating ice cream and a coke, while the other leaks team car plans to rivals. Felipe and Fernando sounds more practical. Raikkonen might be going to WRC or swapping places with Fernando, like Fernando swapped with Heikki.

Ferrari will pay out Raikkonen's contract and give him a sweetner by giving him a fat contract to rally with Fiat. It's also no secret that Kimi is rather ambivalent about F1 right now. I don't blame him, it wouldn't be tough to find it monotonous after you've achieved the highest in the sport.

Also this is not only a matter of performance but also image: the flamboyant Alonso & Massa fits better with Ferrari image than the "ice cold" Raikkonen (let him drive a Volvo F1 with Kovalainen)!

thats a load of rubbish. show me which molecule of schumacher had flamboyance. then i will think about image being an issue with the ferrari driver selection.

First put your glasses on: I didn't speak about Schumacher. But actually he had quite an agressive driving combined with talent, therefore he was fast but rarely fell out of the track even in slippery conditions.

Kimi is agressive you can't deny that.
So you're saying this is Ferrari's new direction that you have suddenly decided based on nothing historical? Wow to have your insight.

Kimi is going nowhere, he will stay at Ferrari until his contract is up next year. All this Alonso nonsense is just talk which will go nowhere until after 2010. Need I remind you guys that Kimi won the championship in his first year at Ferrari(2007) and even with a lack of form still finished third in overall standings last year(2008) and is right now getting podium finishes in a lacklustre car.
