Bernie Ecclestone on Sunday showed formula one team bosses the proposed race calendar for the 2010 season.

The meeting took place ahead of the European grand prix at Valencia, and is believed to have pleased the teams with the confirmation of the return to the calendar of Canada.

The extra race means F1 will stage 18 grand prix events in 2010; one more than this year.

Contrary to speculation, Valencia will again stage the European grand prix but may have a date change, with organisers not happy its current August date clashes with Spanish holidays.

Ecclestone is hoping a solution can be found so that financially-embattled Hockenheim can host the German grand prix as scheduled, while Britain is assured a 2010 date, with Donington and Silverstone vying for the summer event.

Following the withdrawal of Toyota-owned Fuji Speedway, Suzuka will host the 2010 Japanese grand prix.

Portuguese dont have a penny, to organize a F1 Grand Prix you need almost 100 mill Euros.....with 100 mill euros you buy almost all Portugal. Come on.
