looks very promising, a big welcome to the broad grille rather than the pig nosed 7, X1 but more Z4 or E38 like. proportion looks spot on just like the soapbar E39 but not as step forward like the E60 but more of an evolution. interior should be identical to the 5 GT with the same amount of technology. this is great news.

Here is another poorly-written article, but with recent photos: http://f10.5post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=293702
Like so many others, I am greatly looking forward to the complete unveiling of the new 5. Of course, the USA will SURELY be denied some of the better flavors of the 5. I would bet that we will not get the Active Hybrid 5 or 5d, and the models with manual transmissions will be severely limited. C'MON, BMW, have some balls and offer us the manual 530d and the Active Hybrid 5d. Some of us want it all!

"Although quite related to the 5-Series GT, the sedan will only share a minimum number of body panels with its four-seater sibling."
The standard 5-series GT is a 5-seater (at least in Europe), its the higher trim "Executive" models that come with the 2 individual rear "Comfort" seats.

Its hard to tell, because the M5 in the spy photos have full camo (body cladding) and show nearly no details.

Is it just me, or do the latest photos show a fully-digitized screen for the gauges (speedo, tach, etc)?
