I like the car, but the name sounds a tad to 'hard' for this car. It is meant to be a small and nice car. Call it the Kia 'Hello Kitty'.

The Venga will likely not come to the USA because it too much overlaps with the intended market for the Kia Soul, which is a very similarly-sized model. But a number of Venga features may make it into the Soul, though.

It is actually supposed to be slotted below the Soul, even in European markets, being smaller and carrying smaller engines. That Venga would make a perfect Honda Fit fighter in the US, too bad that good small cars designed for European tastes always end up costing too much for american wallets... just like the Ceed, the Fiesta and so many others.

politz, if I read right from the article, the Venga uses the Kia Soul platform but stretches it slightly to get more legroom space. This makes me wonder if the Venga could become the replacement for the Rio5 hatchback now sold in the USA.

I really like this new Kia !! With its size and options, technology and design it should make some big headaches to the new Polo and the other competitors (like the Cee'd made with the Golf). Well done Kia, see you in Frankfurt !
