"5.6-liter V8 with at least 390 hp."
it better be 'at least' 390hp for 5.6L engine.

Mercedes 5.5 ltr V8 is what, 385 HP or so? Better yet, Jag is getting 385 HP from their new 5.0 ltr.

@rcw, aston martin v8 vantage makes 400hp out of 4.3L. maserati makes 440hp out of 4.7L. yes they rev high and different class. but as someone pointed out already. their own 5.0-liter V8 makes 390hp.

This is a massive car that needs a lot of torque, not a lightweight sports car like the V8 Vantage.

The current M is a fantastic car and the interior is beautiful, and i'm sure this M56 will be better.
5.6 390 hp? but the current 5.0 in the FX boasts 390?

Too bad the original didn't sell as well and was not understood and marketed correctly. It was my favorite Q.

I'll have to see this one in person. I'm almost to a point where I'm getting weary of this horizontal wave beltline that has become so popular lately... the Audi A4/A5, Ifiniti EX, Hyundai Elanta and other models... It might look really good in person though. We'll see.

When I looked at it first I was thinking I am seeing Hyundai but then I read the headline. Wow! It still looks like Hyundai but on pain killers. All this drama and nothing special about it. I had higher hopes for it but it doesn't stand out at all:(

Maybe because Hyundai copy every other maker's designs, including infiniti's :)

Good job Infiniti! This looks good. I particularly like the sporty shape and the C pillar/rear decklid design. Front end lights are sort of a generic, because alot of companies these days seem to use a bulging swept back design as well, but a minor caveat. Overall, a vast improvement over the previous gen, which had the largest rear lights I have ever seen.

disappointing. looks deformed to me, maybe the studio photos and not so sure about in the metal. so many lines will age the car very quickly with expected various facelifts on the way. the lexus gs is still one of the best looking japanese saloon on the lot at the moment - mazda6 included.

nahh i think they took that new grille from the concept car they made awhile back... you know... the sex on wheels infiniti??? looks funky, but damn... there is way more good than bad on this car :D:D

Looks good, even though it's borrowing some design cues from other cars. Interior doesn't give that much luxurious look since it looks like a typical Nissan, especially the infotainment area. Curious to see this in metal.

very nice car, only thing Im worried about is fuel consumption, VQ engine series drink gas more than Germans drink beer at Oktoberfest. 3.7 V6 - 350HP, sounds aright, but 5.6 V8 - 390HP sounds no good, i expect more HP, at least 410 HP and top of the line would be 460HP, please Nissan
