How many special models of this are there? It is just like the Mustang, there are 1000 limited models. Are they trying to de-value the original Veyron so much it can be affordable for normal people?

did u just compare a ford to a bugatti? you should be banished from this earth. i'd say there's 10 special models (rough estimate) compared to YOUR beloved mustang which has about a 100 special models (again.. rough estimate). i cannot believe ppl these days haha

so many special editions. yeah this is a one-off, probably just to keep them in the press. WCF and every other media is suckered to report their oh-so-special editions every fking season.
what is next on the blood line? Sang-ria ?

...how about changing the actual body of the car rather than parading different color combos...

they do this for a few reasons actually, one so u dnt end up paying 2 million and then seeing the same exact car next to u wen u go to a car show or under a red light, another one is it so no two cars are alike they all have different colors and stuff, which means in the future like 5 years from now wen they go up on auction blocks they will be worth more.

you are correct, they are just different colors and stuff.
but the special editions does not solve the problem you mentioned.
if someone insist on copying another owner's car or by chance ordered the same colors, they still can do so for the 'standard' cars.
these few special editions accounts for what, 50 out of 300 cars?

maybe you can't order a normal Veyron with a special edition color combination, materials and wheels, but i'm not sure , i'll have to call my Bugatti dealer later in the afternoon.

this is not another edition, the car itself was already introduced, anyway, u can`t deny the beauty of it and i really like the wheels.

Bugatti should just build a unique edition for every customer! LOL! Regardless, it's absolutely stunning.

they are doing it to recoup development and production costs...rumor has it that even at the huge price they charge they are selling each model at a loss...

very nice colour combination, best yet and my favorite at the moment although i would have kept the roof air intake unfinished with a metal chrome look. mwahh und wunderbar!

Not my favourite blue, still the Bugatti blue is the best. Check out the Centennair in paris.

This car is truly gorgeous but the photos displayed here do not do it justice. If you want to see actual photos of the car visit ExoticCarEnthusiast.com then go to news.

i'm tired of special models.Veyron is a limited car it doesn't need special models.
August 16, 2009 6:55 pm
but it does. the ultra rich want to feel like they are special, they need special edition anything.
August 16, 2009 8:11 pm
the car is still butt ugly and adding new rims and changing the colour makes no difference to me if you want an exlusive expensive sports car its always the zonda f or fxx
August 16, 2009 9:23 pm
i thought vw annouced when it launched the veyron they dont make money off them and operate at a loss but will still do so......the many verieties contracticts this and i guess they were telling a lie.....they are marketing this car to death while it has been revealed that supercar prfit margin is gigantic....we have been bluffed

That was when they expected to make only 50, on 50 they would have not recouped their factory and R&D costs, by now all that is paid off and they are making a very nice profit on them.
