Good news, now let's talk about the new Echoboost V6 that should also come in the 2011 Mustangs and get me interested again. I currently drive a 2006 V6 and I'm waiting for the new V6 to come out with a rumored 350+ HP.

Track pack? It is a muscle car, it is not meant to go round corners.

Muscle cars are becoming proper sports cars, and that's a good thing.

Those upgrades are great but i hate the interior it looks so cheap and like if its a replica mustange!

@GRAVE
have you been inside a 2010 Mustang? The interior fit and finish is lightyears ahead of the Camaro and Challenger..

I've been in all three and I'd have to disagree on your interior assessment. While the Challenger borders on horrific, I think the Camaro is quite a bit nicer than the 2010 Mustang and with a greater dose of style. Too bad that style limits the Chevy against having a proper Nav/ICE system, though.

The crimson-necked homo sapien, particularly those indigenous to the former Confederate States of America, will be rejoicing to the news that his beloved 5.0 has risen again.
Mustang cup-holders have taken to the streets in celebration that they will soon be reunited with tobacco-spit filled Mountain Dew cans.

The new Coyote 5.0L apparently gets direct-injection and more than 325kw, which means they'll be one up on the pushrod Camaro.

5L v8 with 400 hp, that a lot more hp/litre than the 4.6 v8. It's shouldn't be too much of a problem to let this car do 26/29 MPG

The new camaro is looking on the outside,but the interior,especially the dashboard is ugly,ugly,ugly!!
Mustang beats them all,challenger is second!

The EcoBoost won't be going into the mustang unfortunatly ford doesn't want the V6 to be competitive with the V8. The mustang will be getting a new
"For the 2011 model year it is anticipated that the 4.6 L V8 will be replaced by a new, 5.0 L DOHC V8 codenamed Coyote. This engine is expected to produce up to 400 bhp (300 kW) and 400 lb?ft (542 N?m) of torque, in order to make the Mustang GT more competitive with the Chevrolet Camaro and Dodge Challenger which both offer engines with greater output. It is also speculated that the aging 4.0 L V6 will be replaced by a 315 horsepower version of the Duratec 37 3.7 L DOHC V6, an engine currently used in the Lincoln MKS. In order to keep a significant difference between the V6 and GT models, the 365 horse Ecoboost engine will not be used in the Mustang. Also, the GT500 will receive an aluminum block"
