According to a recent report, Alfa Romeo will produce a limited edition 8C GTA.
Like the 1965 Giulia Sprint GTA, the 8C GTA will feature exclusive styling and added performance. The unique exterior is expected to boast hood vents, carbon fiber bodywork, and an "ice-white" front bumper with larger air intakes.
On the performance side, Alfa Romeo will add a new ECU module, lower-friction engine components and a revised rev limiter. This should enable the 4.7-liter V8 engine to produce over 500bhp (the standard 8C produces 450bhp). Other performance tweaks include a 150kg reduction in weight, a sportier suspension, and a revised exhaust system with three tailpipes (à la the Ferrari 458 Italia). Thanks to all these minor revisions, the 8C GTA is expected to run from 0-60mph in less than four seconds before hitting a top speed around 200mph.
The £200,000 ($328,730 USD / €232,910) supercar will be incredibly rare, as production is expected to be limited to 100 units.

Hopefully we will see a volume proper sports car from Alfa in the future. Maybe something down at the Boxster/Z4/SLK end of the market.
