Hardly a day has gone by since pictures of the BMW EfficientDynamics Vision / Vision Z were released into the Internet. Yet well-regarded automotive artist Jon Sibal has created a full rendering of the car based on the covered images. It is a rushed job as you can probably tell, something the artist fully admits.

Using the trusted Photoshop digital tool Sibal went underneath the car's skin and imagined what details could be hidden there. The front end features an upturned kidney grille, a sharp headlight area, the traditional BMW "Hoffmeister kink" on the C-pillar (but with a new shape surround). The rims did not impress the artist and so he replaced them with something that was better suited to his tastes. As the concept is missing side mirrors, so is the rendering.

Frankfurt is fast approaching and we look forward to seeing if Sibal has kept his design mojo on this one as well. More such pictures or even more revealing ones may yet turn up after it was reported that the leaked ones were taken subsequent to a BMWweb.tv photo shoot.

Official words from BMW indicate that the concept will redefine the sports car segment with its innovative technologies in many auto spheres. Should we hold our collective breaths?

To be honest, there is way too much going on the front end... looks more like "49.99$ tuning" accesory :)

Still something missing like the front air intakes, where are there? although I know its a render. If bmw keeps this design it will interesting see a mix of evo x & something & good looks.

Doesn't need front air intakes because it will be electric.

Front end is too big, should be on a SUV. Trunk looks too small. If this have to compete against Panamera, then we have a'n uglier candidate then the Panamera, this car is no match against CLS, XF,....

I agree, it could be an X4 or something.

Seriously, what is going on in people's minds that they think that front end looks good? It looks like a bad collogen injection turned septic after several unsuccessful skin grafts.

Your right, except for the evo looking face and a strange overall aspect there's nothing to catch my eye. And it's to tall.

im with bristol on this, it looks rubbish.

yup, gross. I know BMW can do better than that. Is it just me or does it look really tall? Oh well, CG has no affect on handling anyway...

i don't like it. bmws are no longer beautiful but just plain aggressive with a lot of lines - even infiniti and lexus concept cars are a lot more beautiful these days. this one looks too much like a dodge charger.

The front end really needs some love, but the overall formula for the shape - especially the roofline towards the back is really nice...

Yeah, front looks like a dodge charger and it's too futuristic, and where are front air intakes, I don't like this compared to CLS, BMW can do much better than this I hope...

The front is very special, why special?dont know who is potencial buyer of that design reminds me 80's-90's bmw models. In 90s bmw company was not in good finanicial situation because the buyers were choosing more classic and comfort cars for evry day.My word concept only

Aah gawd!!! I'd be hard-pressed to believe that the people running BMW aren't being paid off by the competition to just muck everything up... another car I'll just have to get used to.

Blah, looks too complicated. They just couldn't stop adding lines, could they? Now it looks horrible.

Jon Sibal is an extremely talented individual. Not only do his renderings look fantastic, but his other artwork is great, too. Thanks, Jon, for giving us this rendering to ponder until the Frankfurt Show. Great work!

Judging from the comments above, this just proves that no matter what BMW produces, people will still like it.

Judging by other comments, it seems no matter what BMW produces, some people won't like them.

That front end does not look good. It looks like plastic surgery gone way wrong. Sorry but I really hate it.

hey guys, remember that this is a rendering with photoshop.. And one can not know whats really under the sheet on the original picture. Anyway it looks a lot like the m1 concept or the cs. I am not going to judge this before it is finally shown at frankfurt!

This is just a rendition. Front end will be much more soothing to the eyes.

God I hope it doesn't end up looking like this. A child crumples up a piece of paper and glues it to the front end of a car and you folks think it looks good!?

it's just strange to see bmw taking styling cues from mitsubishi. That's all i'm saying
