In the US, Ruf offers a kit similar to Switzer's ("our") 800 kit for approx. $130,000. We're about 1/4 that price ... so, YES! We are Ruf wannabes - in the sense that we want someone to pay $100,000 markup on $30-40k worth of parts! LOL!

That rear spoiler fits this car perfectly... and so does the power. Well, maybe it is too much, but still ok I guess.

http://www.dragtimes.com/Porsche-911-Turbo-Timeslip-17448.html This is a timeslip from the less powerful 700/750 kit Switzer offers. This was a Tiptronic car and the 0-60 time (per the VBox) was 2.5.

dont they ever heard of 95, or 95+ octane fuel? i cant believe the 1st economic (well, soon former) power in this world still uses 93 octane fuel. no wonder they pollute so much and no wonder their "beautiful" engines produce so much power. i bet that porsche has much more to give if it ran on 98.. like they do in europe.

Europe and US use different methods for rating octane. Euro pumps use RON, US pumps use PON. 98 RON is roughly equivalent to 93-94, but keep in mind that US fuel usually contains 10% ethanol, which itself is something of an octane booster. You can read up on it a bit here: http://www.btinternet.com/~madmole/Reference/RONMONPON.html Short version: 93 is every bit as good as 98, and you can get 95 PON (approx. 100 RON) at many Sunoco pumps in the US.

Yes. Go to the Switzer website and email us through "contact". Depending on the kit, if it is for Porsche or Nissan, etc.

Hey Jo.... Do you guys @ Switzer have any nutty packages for the Cayman-S? I bet that would be interesting to see.

Unfortunately, no. Tym's background is in turbocharged systems, so we haven't gotten into the NA stuff yet. Next up: Cayenne and Panamera.
