honestly, why would you get this car in a soft top ? its so much more attractive as a hard top.

hmm.. if you ignore the b-pillars and not concealable rear windows than i agree. but to me a real coupe simply mustnd have b-pillars and must have fully flexible rear windows.

I would go for coupe but this is also stunning, the color is killer, in general A5 is great!!!

Fantastic. I think as a daily driver their cars have surpased BMW.

I don't think so, especially when I see 335i coupe.

i think as daily drivers their cars have always been better than BMW. case in point, what Jezza said about the E46 M3 vs the B6 S4. he said the S4 was less fun, but with it's auto, comfortable seats etc. it was much more usable day to day. incidentally, he preferred it, and it was 0.1sec faster around the track than the M3. trust the guy called "X6M" to disagree tho :p.

the point that was made is that Audi has NOW surpassed BMW as the daily driver's car. of course i have to use the past to demonstrate why that isn't true. please read the posts before you make silly comments. and X6M @your comments below, i'm not saying that the S4 is a vastly superior car due to it's 0.1 seconds. i used to have a '95 E36, and i loved that car dearly. i also agree it was better looking than the B5 A4. but we're talking DAY TO DAY drivers here, and Audi is reknowned for it's amazing ergonomics and comfortable interiors, as well as it's bulletproof build quality and reliability (whilst BMW's engineering is generally quite good, i found the E36 somewhat unreliable!). those were some of the reasons i swapped to Audi, and it was nearly 5 years ago that i decided to make the swap. so, to rebut the original point made, i don't think that Audis are only just starting to surpass BMWs as daily drivers. i think that happened years ago. if anyone would like any further clarification, please don't hesitate to ask :)

Look mr.sub334 I have a BMW E39 03' and I can honestly say to you that the car is fast, comfortable, and it's definitely better looking than Audi C5 A6, it's all I need from a car, what you're saying is that the BMW is less usable than the Audi, that's stupid detail not worth of mention and 0.1sec? wow, that's really big difference...

Audi is just doing it all right atm. But its jsut a matter of time till they run out of ideas and start doing what bmw does: invent niche markets

That price is insanely cheap! For ?42,245 you would only get the 1,8t coupe in Norway. You would have to pay in about ?180,000 for the S5 convertible..
