Those of you looking to purchase a 2010 Jaguar XJ will be happy to toy around with the new configurator the automaker has launched. The system allows potential customers to choose between the car's eight different variants, and a modest amount of options.
We built a Jag XJ LWB SuperSport with a 5.0-liter supercharged V8. The car, in British Racing Green, has a tan interior and oak veneer. The car comes with many standard features, like the 1200 Watt Bowers & Wilkens stereo, virtual instrumentation, dual view screen with sat-nav and hard drive, stability control, amongst many other features.
For our saloon, we chose to reject the £1,800 drivers assistance package in favor of the built-in garage opener, and wood/leather, heated, three-spoke steering wheel. We also added the WhiteFire wireless headphone system, and the digital radio receiver. Accessories we chose were the chrome and rubber pedals, and the locking lugnuts, but there was no pricing listed for those items.
Total cost of the WCF Jaguar XJ: £89,200 including taxes and fees.

i have to say, i'm liking this low volume, niche car thing that Jag have got going on at the moment. they're like the British Maserati. fantastic.
(and by the by, as a British Indian i take exception to the fact that ppl resent that Jag is owned by an Indian company. being proud of both my heritages, I'm glad that it's designed and made in Britain, and backed by the common sense and hard work ethic that India has to offer.)
I would have to disagree with you on the subject of the Quattroporte. The Quattroporte is more of a M5/RS6/E63 fighter. The Quattroporte is much smaller than the 7er. Moreover, Jaguar is aiming to exit the wafty limousine segment of the market and follow more along the lines of the A8. I say this because of the design of the XJ and XF.
