come on ford, get back to LMS! it's not hard to develop a car that goes fast and turns left. do something challenging and international!

sideskrapper - there more to it than building a car that can go fast and do left turns, theres springand shock setup and fine tuning the engine and gear selection.

i dont by that, the level of difficulty of the course is relatively low. Racing in nascar has a high emphasis on fine tuning the vehicle, but most other races have to take in relatively more considerations when they work on tuning i.e. the track

"spring and shock setup and fine tuning the engine and gear selection." yup all stuff that no other racing series have to contend with. not to mention acceleration, deceleration, attitude changes, and the most meaningless of all, turning right.

dimeNickel - In some parts i would agree with you, With DTM and F1 is more advanced than say nascar and rely a lot on aerodynamics and all. But it would appear that your not so clued up on Nascar, if you were you would know that not only is each race track diffrent, due to the fact that banking in the corners and that you have 43 cars running the same engine. so the only way they can be faster than anyone else is by having the best handling car than everyone else. all so running a car for 4 hours, running the same line among other drivers inches apart is extremly stressfully and tiring , so I think no matter what type of racing you doing, be it v8 supercars, dtm, f1, or drag racing, you have to be quite skilled and athletic.

thats all good and well that they will presenting the mustang in the line up but being a huge nascar fans, I can tell you that the actual car will look nothing like the rendering, sure it'll look like a mustang but all the car have to have the same body style and the onlything diffrent between the cars will be the stickers.

that's no Mustang! I like to see the guy that designed it. I'd kick his dog and break his white stick!

LoL the mustang enters Nascar...The name not the car, this nascar has more in common with the Nascar fusion than with the mustang.

Showcase the Taurus SHO NOT the Mustang- its image/legacy is elsewhere- not in the history of big sedans running moonshine from the sheriff.

Nascar has to be the worst showcase of driving...just look at the people that watch it. no matter what you say about how hard it is, it does not and can not be compared to f1 or dtm. it just simply sucks, so we will just leave it at that.

I thought nascars were only supposed to be made from ugly and heavy sedans, not ugly and heavy coupes. Anyway redneck racing is lame, WRC 4 LIFE!
