Bugatti will not be showing the so-called Bordeaux at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show, so says a source of TheCarConnection. Instead a concept car based on the teasers that are cropping up will be revealed but only to some select customers and dealers. The purpose is to gauge reactions and see if such a car could be viable if it were to be introduced in a few years time.

Meanwhile Bugatti is certain to unveil yet another special edition Veyron at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance next month. The 407km/h Veyron comes in a coupe and a topless Grand Sport but there have been a number of special editions being introduced time and again.

As for the Bordeaux or the Lydia, whatever it ends up being called, reports say it will be a four-door super sedan the likes of which has not been seen before. Possibly fitted with the same W16 engine from the Veyron, it would dwarf all competition when launched, with power likely to surpass 600kW (816hp).

Leaked photos of the concept Bordeaux will surely be available from the Bugatti centennial celebration in Molsheim, France which takes place before the Frankfurt Motor Show.

Aww. They probably delayed it because they need to add more exhausts.

so , some rumours say that other rumours may not be true. at least we now know the name of the car, or not...

one thing is for sure, it will be funny when the Japs start copying those exhausts on their hybrids !

Im happy to hear this because im tired of brands trying to damage themselves by creating sedan versions.
