New photos of the 2010 Acura RDX facelift have leaked out, and they appear to be officially produced by the automaker. While the photos mainly focus on the front of the car, we also can decipher some changes at the back.
The photos show a sport utility vehicle with a drastically restyled front end, that includes extensive modifications to the air intakes, fog lamps, and grille. Although there is not a clear shot of the entire rear of the RDX, we can see three clear details: hexagonal tailpipes, part of a redesigned rear bumper that better incorporates the exhaust, and the use of some black mesh material at the center. We particularly like the new wheels.
Rumor has it that the unveiling of the facelift will coincide with the introduction of a 2WD model. This new model would see a cut in weight by as much as 200 pounds, while increasing fuel economy beyond the current model's 19 mpg (combined). However, we do not expect any engine offerings beyond the current units.
New comfort features should include ambient lighting, Bluetooth compatibility, and a USB jack with room for an iPod. XM radio and Acura's up-to-the-minute traffic and weather systems could be included with the purchase of the sat-nav. Also look for a new rear camera, with a monitor embedded in the rearview mirror.
With today's leak, we would not be surprised to get official word from Acura about the RDX sometime soon.

Now im starting to think, maybe its not the grill issue but the other elements in the front fascia (eyes, spoiler). The TSX front did not gel together but the RDX looks coherent IMO.
The eyes are pretty...almost a copy of the BMW 3-series and X models.
