it's called a hearse btw. and I would think that hearses a derived from the body of an estate. not the other way round.

It's becoming normal to give the wagon the same rearlights as the sedan

Good job with the pics. As for the car...well that's another hearse--err...issue.

"Dubai is rapidly becoming an ideal testing ground..."
Well, yeah, if you want your "secret" prototype to be caught on camera. A touristic destination, with millions of tourists and their, uh, CAMERAS. Just perfect.

=( It looks like it is going to get the sedans rear lights, I would rathter have a 5 Series Touring if it does.

Stretch C-Class, give it front and rear lights from E-Class, and there you have! I don't need any spy photos to know what it'll look like.

I'm glad to see that Mercedes has not succumbed to pressure and that the estate car has not been replaced by mutant bodystyles as seen over at BMW.

I think MB is in danger of falling into the "one sausage, three lengths" styling problem BMW had. What works on the S class, can look cluttered on the C class. In the case of the E class, they've added additional busyness around the rear fenders. I don't think it helps the appearance of the car.
So the next generation E class will be out when, 2016? I hope MB can find their way back to clean elegant styling. They must have a very loyal following for the E class. It's hard for me to regard this series as attractive.
