More power, more exclusive

Mansory's Linea Vincero Bugatti Veyron has been caught on video, thanks to our longtime friend Nick Hall.

The modified supercar features an enhanced cold air induction system and an optimized exhaust, which enables the Bugatti's massive 8.0-liter 16 cylinder engine to produce 1109 hp and 1310 Nm of torque (instead of the standard 1001 hp and 1250 Nm of torque).

In terms of styling, Mansory equips the Linea Vincero Veyron with an extensive carbon-fiber body kit that includes a shorter hood, a new front apron, revised side skirts, and an aggressive rear diffuser. The company also adds a "V" insignia to the front grille, LED daytime running lights, and fully-forged turbine-design wheels.

Inside, the Linea Vincero Veyron features additional carbon-fiber trim and LED lighting fitted to seats, doors and dash.

That is an automotive abortion. Disgusting. Why would you do that to a Veyron?

This is perfect. I love how Mansory tunes any exclusive cars. I never thought it is possible to make a Rolls or a Veryon look more exquisite and more expensive than the standard ones, which are already not modest at all, but Mansory somehow allways manages to do that. I love Mansory!

You lost me when you said "I love how Mansory tunes any exclusive cars" as almost everything I have seen them touch is transformed from understated classic to gaudy dog's dinner in an instant.

This is one of their finer bodies of work. "Enhancing" a Veyron is still a question of taste however.

Not sure what you guys are talking about! I was literally drooling over my laptop when I saw this.

It actually doesn't look that bad, its only the paint job which looks rubbish. The wheels look like a mini cooper & why putting more HP into this car? does it have enough or does this car need to fly now? then next will be wings & rudder to fly!

200 ever produced (maybe 300 not really sure), 1744636134568780187615457th edition squeezed out of 200 and maybe the ugliest one

Those editions were made by Bugatti. This edition is made by Mansory - nothing to do with Bugatti. Please concentrate.

nothing can beat the carbon fiber outer shell, i think this car looks amazing and kudos to mansory for their extensive carbon fiber designs. nothing looks out of proportion with them and i am not talking just about the Bugatti, take a look at mansory 599 and DB9 and you will get my point. for all of you naysayers, your time of automotive art appreciation has yet to come...

You've got to be kidding. Mansory designs have all the taste of tapioca. Carbon fibre is hideous, especially on a shape like the Veyron's. It's incredibly tacky, and in a few years they are all going to be bleached out and disgusting. To Specsavers with you!

u r not very bright though if you think that carbon fiber is hideous. it is a latest fashion accessory if you haven't notice that, aside from gorgeous to look at, it became material of choice for exotic car makers

ofcourse OIL money. Might as well have gold and diamonds inside just to spend a few extra hundred thousand oil dollars.

I much rather get any one of the special editions from the factory, ex Pur Sang, etc etc than a third party for a car like this.

this will devalue the veyron,

did WCF not claim that they will weed out posts with crap english? and anw.. the clutch of that veyron will melt as soon as the owner takes it out to play.. bugatti had problems looking for the clutch and tires for 1001 bhp and mansory increased the power to 1109

July 15, 2009 12:52 PM
actually the normal Veyron has around 1050 hp, 1001 just sounds cooler than say 1049.5

Haters can have their opinion, but I love how this Bugatti looks, it is probably the best looking Veyron ever made!

Ok, nice, yeee .. but what's the point of this "more exclusive" Bugatti ? As standard, the Veyron is as exclusive as it gets, so ... between the Bugatti owners, now must be a game of "my toy is bigger than yours" or what ? Come on people, instead of this exclusivity cost you could get a Bugatti and a Murcielago SV. There are many crazy ppl in this world ...

scratchy996
July 15, 2009 12:57 PM
there are people that earn a Veyron every day before lunch and 5 Murcielagos SV in the afternoon, do you really think they care about how much this costs ?

One word... STUNNING!

July 15, 2009 2:33 PM
Why did they remove the bugatti badges? The thing is still mostly a bugatti, it's lame they try to pass it of as 100% their own creation.

July 15, 2009 3:13 PM
honestly, i think its nothing special. same old car with just a few tweaks to the cooling system :/ thats all. still looks ugly imo.

Its a nice car to look at, but I think you'd have to be a real dumb@ss to actually buy one.

N20_Purge

The running costs, price when you buy it, everytime you step on the gas pedal you get a speeding ticket. Cars like this can only be eye-candy. If you buy one, your life is wrecked.

Wickedated
July 16, 2009 3:53 AM
You buy one of these and it never depreciates in price because of its extreme rarity. In a course of 10 years, the money invested in the car has probably returned more than if your money was sitting in the bank.

Case in point, McLaren F1. At launch, it cost $1.2mil. You can't buy one less than $3 mil right now.
