Good start, If any from GM key people reads our comments, these are the issues why many don't buy GM cars: Designes are to sharp with edges (like the Caddis, Youken, etc), you need to be inspired by baeuty like Aston Marin for sport cars, Mercedes Benz for lexury Techonolgy: I think this area is ok with GM, but the interface "bottuns" are too big and not 2009 related Materials used: Body material always looked cheap, never given the feeling of solid like german cars, inside leather and other materials looks too ruen after 12 months and the car looks like 5yrs old even if it is 2009. Number of products: Too much you do have, you should have one lexury car compared to Mercedes S Class, I suggest one model only you name it GM - Caddilac class, and for 4X4 & SUVS name it GM - GMC class and to have 2 models X4X & SUV, and mid & small to be GM-Pontiac Classes, and 2 sport versions GM-Corvette Class. So GM ends with only 7 cars manufactued and focus on above mentioned qualities

I think a lot of people will agree here that the current generation Caddys are pretty damn good looking. So what if they have sharp edges... they got it right. As far as competing with something similar to an S class, I think the that point is quite moot. The "New" GM needs to get back to basics and reinvent themselves. Offer something that will appeal to a broad spectrum of people... a product that every one wants and needs. Like Honda and Toyota.

Caddies look fine. they look great and a Cadillac shouldn't look like an Aston, BMW or Benz...because DUH, its not one of those, its a Cadillac. The new CTS, STS both look great.

No offense to Goodness, but if GM is reading these posts, please don't follow the advice given in his/her post. Even BMW doesn't survive on 7 models and becoming a copycat, homogenized brand isn't going to be any easy to market or sell. I do agree that they should improve in all areas, as other manufacturers continue to do, but for luxury technology they should look to Lexus, for overall heft and quality they should refer to Audi, and for character (sportiness) they may want to try a BMW, BUT, let the inspiration be a test drive and possible benchmark and nothing more. Now if we could just get them to stop running these new ads....The 'new' GM indeed.

I love the way Caddy's look. They are amazing. Gm has too many issues that only bankruptcy could solve. Let's see what happens....
