Fingers crossed that GM Co. returns to profitability within the next decade. Cause word from a bird states that only 1 in 10 Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases ever return to profitability. Yes, good luck Fritz. But please, keep the three key ingredients that make American GM cars unique. The power and noise of the V8 engine, the suave and butch looks of the muscle car, and the price to make such a product within reach of everyday Americans. Fritz, be loyal to your fans and buyers, your prospective buyers and fans, and subside the calls to dampen down or destroy these key ingredients just for the sake of pleasing the hippies and being "politically correct".

Um..didn't these "loyal buyers" lack of "buying" get them into this mess in the first place? Its amazing how some people just want to continue to ride on 4 flat tires, despite the fact that it is "politically correct" to get them changed. Fishes, Narco.

Just hope that GM will go up, and will be independent again, some day.

When 60% of your company is owned by the government its time to be politically correct. There's a difference between pleasing the hippies and being progressive. GM won't became profitable if they focus on their conservative, crusty, american fan base soley. They have to think of new technology other than the pushrod V8 if they want to compete in the 21st century. Look at Dodge and when they decided everything should have a Hemi.

Ah! the big change GM needed was in their stupid name...not. But at least Hummers are gonna die (you really think someone will buy the brand?) Finally, amen, the world is a better place without Hummers. Let's just hope GM "Co" actually decides to jump into the 21st century, otherwise they'll file for bankruptcy again in a while.
