The current version has been around since...1995 I believe!! 'Bout time it got replaced! I wonder if we will a get a rebadged Seat version again this time around,or maybe even Skoda...

I think it is a wise business decision to offer the Sharan in the USA instead of the barely disguised, dreadful Routan. Good-quality German engineering in a minivan could certainly help VW realize its sales-figure goals in the next several years. Offer a TDI version and the Sharan may be this generation's "Minibus."
