The tuners at Rex Accelero came up with this widebody kit when attempting to answer the question of what an SLK 55 AMG Black Series modeled after the SL 65 AMG could look like. They came up with this look which was done by moving out the front and rear fenders by about 2.5 inches. Doing this allowed for the aerodynamic parts to be placed in such a way as to give the car room to be used as a track day device.
A carbon fiber lip plus a rear diffuser will be installed in the final production models. Minimum weight and strength will be ensured by using a vacuum-bag construction. Thus a 50:50 weight distribution can be achieved. Some aspects are still being tweaked ahead of the opening of the pre-order book in September.

but lose the black rims.
500 hp is not an official number, I was misquoted. Furthermore, the stock car weighs around 3300 lbs, so even 500 hp would be great!
