if it hits $600k aud then it should sell well here. considering a gallardo with a few options isnt far from that. murc's and 599's are far more expensive. i wonder though, if this is the first cart that looks better in camouflage than in the flesh?

First thing I thought when I saw the picture, without reading the title, was that this is a McLaren.

I can just imagine Jeremy Clarkson driving it and dissing the Aussies just like last time he drove (what was it?) a Holden Commodore :/

actually he loved the commodore because it was like an M5 without the prestige and badge. and all three loved the monaro

wait, on further thought i believe i read something connecting this to the ultima gtr. wouldnt surprise me if this is based on the ultima chassis. although the configuration appears to differ.

i reckon the new zealanders have done better than this just a month ago - the hulme can am is waaay better looking than this thing. and it looks original, not like this thing which looks like a kit car. GO KIWI!!

Are you kidding, the Hulme was the Caparo T1's ugly sister car, it wasn't original nor good looking. That caparo was brilliant and i still love it (despite its flaws), just like i still love this thing, a lot more than anything NZ has.

The proportions do look similar to a McLaren F1 in the photos but when you stand beside it (as I did at the 2004 motor show) the resemblance is actually not apparent ... IMHO it simply has great classic lines ... besides anything resembling the McLaren would be right up there of my list for automotive perfection.

hmmm it looks like a mclaren f1 mixed with parts from a pagani zonda. imo despite loveing the pagani zonda this car is very generic and ugly. the only thing that impresses me is the power and speed this thing can do.

1994 called, they want their car back. For 600 large people are going to go with a badge that they know - Ferrari, Lamborghini, Aston Martin etc.
