Well done for Hyundai, but still .. this Ix ONIC concept is a copy of Ford Kuga, as the Santa Fe is a kind of Q7 + Touareg copy ... why they don't hire some real designers, because the car are really good in this moment ?!

Shouldn't this read: How Hyundai plans to rip off the design of yet another vehicle... this time its the Ford Kuga. Sad thing is that Hyundai will have theirs here in the states before Ford and they'll sell a ton of them. Pay attention Ford!

How do u know Kuga came first? Last i checked in the past 2 years Hyundai has been more innovative than Ford, they pumped out 2 great cars, the Genesis and Genesis Coupe.

I know because the Kuga concept came out at the Frankfurt show in 2007 and its already a production model. The HED thingy by Hyundalay was released this year at the 2009 Geneva show. Is that enough proof for you? Two years!

The Ford Kuga influence is very strong indeed, just more rounded & bloated. Hyundai has been doing the 'Chinese' thing for years & has managed to just about get away with it.

A 1.6T with 140 hp, that's not really good. Maybe without the turbo it's just the normal 1.6 with 120 hp, what kind of turbo delivers just 20 hp?

Hmm, it's only Hyundai we're talking about here, so the big players won't be to disturbed with that.

Correction, in this market the "big players" should be disturbed by any competition. Hello, GM!

I've always been positive about Hyundai. Especially when commenting on this web site. But my conclusion, based on other people's comments is that most of them have absolutely no experience with these cars. So it's all about empty words with no reference to reality. Having tested a number of Hyndais I think now that this is one of the companies on the top of the chart regarding the "value for money" of their products.

South Korea. If it was North Korea they wouldn't be allowed to sell in the West.
