That was most definately hard work..... despite the Audi chairman trying to signal their arrogance by saying that when they win, they are the best and when others win, it was just luck. Maybe it is the reliability of your diesel cars. Look at their road cars: Massive recalls with turbo problems and refinery problems. If Merc and BMW were to compete here, Audi would not even make the podium. Remember BMW in 1999? Where was Audi?

Congratulation to the lions, you did have the best car this year;) Danmit Audi, you can't just take a car to Le Mans without testing it proberbly. Come again next year and please bring a better car.

Well it's a fact. You don't have to hate Audi that much just because you choosed to buy your car at a place where the service is bad. Peugeot did win fair they had the fastes car and did drive very well. Audi no. 1 just drove a bit better, just not fast enough. Have a nice day;)

Congrats to Peugeot! No doubt Audi will be working on adjustments to the R15 TDI in the next 12 months. Still a great race for both car companies and the industry as a whole. Diesels RULE!!!

Exactly - they display such bad sportsmnship. It is the same with their service to customers with arrogant attitude and poor customer service - at least when I was owning the 2.0TDI. That statment just makes people reject the brand.

That Audi Chairman's comment is extremely arrogant - something about winning so many times in the past and that it si not by luck. What is he signalling? That the lions won by luck and when they win it is not by luck? The fact of the matter is that it doesn't matter what happened in the past, in the most recent, you are not good enough let alone being 6 laps behind! Congrats to the lions and as for Audi: you are the losers and your attitude stinks! Your car has just proven to be inferior - just like your diesel road cars with huge turbo recalls and refinement problems! You have just marketed to the world that your diesel technology is unreliable.

Audi has proven their technology and performance on the track many times in the past. To say that their brand inferior or that it is unreliable is just plain silly. Many people across the world buy Audi's, many also buy BMW's, merc, and so on. With all the technology and innovation put into today's German auto's sometimes technology is going to break down. This wouldn't matter if it were a Ford or a Chevy, 1 out of how many cars might have part's problems down the road, it also comes down to just how the owners are driving and maintaining their vehicles as well. Peugeot ran a near perfect 24 hours this year, their car is very fast as has been in the past, their technology is proven in their race car, congrats to them. I'm willing to bet that Audi will make the adjustments to their NEW r15, yes let's remember it is a new car, and come back to their winning ways real soon. King you sound like a bitter former Audi owner who got shafted by the service dept. So do you drive a peugeot now that they won the 24 hours? Could you tell us how their service dept. is or how well their street cars hold up? Could you give me directions to the nearest Peugeot dealer in the states here.

?The King & others? stop talking rubbish and portend like you know anything, as you obviously don?t. I have a friend who works for Audi and Peugeot as service manager and did work for Mercedes and BMW. He says Peugeot is one of worst possible productions you can get, customers are so unhappy with their brand new vehicles not to mention used ones non stop problems engine electrical and so on. Company is having problems due to this fact. Owner wants to close the dealership?s down because he is basically sick of faulty cars he receives from the production and dealing with unhappy customers. Mercedes are unfriendly, service is on a ok level, cars are top notch quality, BMW service is ridiculous, very rude and all they want is fame without justifying their proven facts, cars lots of electrical problems. And for Audi he is comparing them to Mercedes in quality and in many cases says Audi is better. I own Audi as many of my friends are and half of them are diesel cars. Audi has the best diesel technology in the world I have never heard one turbo problem crap mentioned here, as I know many people who drive Audi TDI. The service I get from Audi is absolutely outstanding, no matter even if I take the car for little things, such to change brake light they provide me with car for a day and usually I tell them I need it for 2 and its all fine, full tank of petrol, cars given to me are brand new, all this is done free of charge. The only time I pay is when I do minor and major service of my vehicle than obviously I pay for what it needs to be done. Audi is a winner in anything, complimented the Peugeot upon their win and what else would you want them to say, that is why its called competition and in every one of them there is greed, no one likes to loose starting from individuals to teams. Audi remains the only car manufacturer to have ever won the legendary twice-around-the-clock French race with diesel power - a race run over a longer total distance than this year's entire 18-race Formula One World Championship, and at very similar average speeds, but completed in the course of just 24 hours. In 1980, Audi released the Quattro, a four-wheel drive turbocharged car that went on to win rallies and races worldwide. It is considered one of the most significant rally cars of all time. The Quattro went on to achieve much success in the World Rally Championship with Audi taking all podium places being the Best, further more claiming a ?historic? win in the first ever diesel sports car at 12 Hours of Sebring, best winners of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, DTM and so on. The ?Golden Steering Wheel one of the most prestigious accolades in the automotive industry? has been awarded since 1975 to the best new cars of the year, making Audi the most successful strongly standing winner beating all other. Members of the ?Golden Steering Wheel? highest jury, consisting of VIPs, technical experts, racing, rally pros, most experienced in the industry, Car Body Award by international panel of experts, design, and a leadership in this industry beating every other production, World Car of the Year Awards so many more proven facts beating every single car production starting from Mercedes BMW and so on. AUDI Truth in Engineering 'Advancement through Technology' THE BEST, SIMPLE PROVEN FACT.

King, must be one of those car owners that should be driving a tank with rubber gears. Do not know how to take care of a car and, then ends up blaming the manufacturer. Beware the next dealer, having to be stuck with this moron

Please learn to read and, most importantly understand English before feeding us your drivel. The Audi motorsport head does not once claim that Peugeot was lucky, he makes the statement once again, how tough a race Le Mans is and his statement about winning 8 times out overall is in fact based on facts, his admittance about its toughness reflects well on Peugeot, so until you have an understanding of the language, rather keep being a fool to yourself. Why is BMW and M/B not there???? did M/B not try but forgot it was a car race and went airborne, before pulling out.
