anyone else think that ferrari is just re-releasing the same looking car with just a few engine mods over and over again, and that its getting over done and boring ?

a lot of manufacturers do it.....it's called an evolution design. Porsche has been doing it for ages.....and if you look at some current cars....it it the same as well, eg; X5, G35/37 coupe.....and yes, lastly, picture above is a mule....

They'll likely release a standard model followed by a racetrack version (stradale, scuderia) and probably bring the turbo then.

I think they know it's a mule. They mean from 355 to 360 to 430 to 450. Not much change from one to the next, save for displacement increase a few 100cc at a time, wider tracks, more equipment etc. The best way to tell exactly what's on the next iteration of any Ferrari, just look at the 'scuderia' or 'CS' version of the current car. Tech, power and performance figures should be on par. I think they should give us a new 612 Scaglietti first, that one's getting old.

Sorry but I disagree- there's a HUGE different between the 355 design and the 360. And again, a good enough difference between the 360 and 430. They definitely haven't stuck with the same evolution pattern as Porsche's.

Not too long ago, we've heard and heard about the new Dino ... Ferrari was denying and at the end we saw the California.. I see more the new Enzo here than the new 430 ... Remember, Ferrari announced to turn to light is right... Looking at wheels arches I do not see a F450... open your eyes !!!

Who said anything about design? I meant chassis and tech. I was just clearing up Raptor's doubt that the blokes listed above him thought it wasn't a mule - because it is. Personally, I think the 355 was the last good looking one (for its time) - one I'd buy on looks alone. And anyway, I was talking about evolution. Porsche hasn't evolved its design at all. It's exactly the same.

When it ain't broke don't fix it. Ferrari has only improved its cars over the years. This is not about drastic makeovers. This is simply tweaking and refining an already superb machine.

360 Modena - F430 was quite a bit leap if you ask me.

agreed. None of the Ferrari models look remotely alike if you call yourself a car enthusiast. 360 and 430 are two completely different looking cars not just revised bumpers. The size, the way it sits, the shape, very different.

The replacement car for F 430 is already born, if some of you cared to look around in internet you will find a black ferrari without bumpers. Yes, but don't look at the renderings. Ferrari have always tried to make their cars look different from each other as much as possible. Anyone who has not noticed such difference needs to consult an eye specialist.

Come on worldcarfans.. The F430 replacement will not be called The F450.. this has been discussed on other sites for over 2 months now.. leaked info says it will be called the F400tt and will be powered by a 4.0L V8 direct-injection twinturbo making over 400kW's and revving to 9,000 RPM. It WILL NOT BE a 5.5L V8 evolution of the F430 4.3L V8. Get with the times!

9 000 rpm on a 4.0L TT would yield to about 650~750hp... (otherwise going up to 9 000 rpm would be useless)
