Nice job Mitsubishi ... now you just need to get that price down to something realistic and I'll take one off your hands ... in white with the mint green splash ... it would be perfect where I live because the power grid is all hydro and wind turbine generated, making it a true zero emissions vehicle.

Looks like a hit.... if only they weren't £30k. Too bad getting the price down would lead to a loss of funds to Mitsi'.

Great. Now just give me $40,000.00 stimulus and I shall add $10,000.00 on my own and buy a BMW M3.

it's stupid to compare the price of it with M3...please post your point which make more sense!

why u all complaining the price tag? yep, it's expensive. but it's common sense! remember how much it was for the first dvd player/ plasma tv/ lcd flat panel monitor or tv/ blueray player? & how much are they NOW? it'll take a while to bring the price down once they hit the point of balance between production cost with market demand...so, the price at this stage is NOT important at all. i applause the efforts made by Mitsubishi!

com'on $50.000!!!!! helloooooo! Earth calling Mitsubishi ...Mitsubishi answer please... ...Earth calling Mitsubishi... And please people do not courage companies which want to sell 2m (...so what if it is electric) car for $50.000. Its 2009 its not 1959 so this technology should not be that expensive!!!

Okay, that is one great concept behind this car, and I know this technology is expensive and all, but it is still a little overpriced... maybe because Mitsubishi is such a small company, and is not able to hold the price down by diluting the development investment in some huge numbers of projected sales... or maybe because it needs to make a profit out of this car right away, and cannot afford maybe a small fund loss in order to get this operation going... but it's almost certain that bigger (or bolder) companies would have been able to price it better and make it a hit.

By the way: it's cute, it's clean and its design has been around for years now, hitting each and every car show and making the rounds on the media... but it still lacks personality to me. Personality and brand identity, actually... just stick any other logo on that bubbly front end - Nissan, Renault, Subaru, Saturn, Citroen, you name it - and it's good to go.
Oh, and looks like a Nano melting due to the global warming effects too... doesn't it?
