"What I would say to them is that if they want to write the rules, they should organise their own championship." There we go, Max has just told us what to do. I hope they form a breakaway league with proper rules. THis ass messed up F1.

This to me is simply a case of political standoff to show who's in control of F1 - totally not helping the sport. I'm disappointed with the whole thing and ruin my appetite for next year.

Harsh but it did make me chuckle, I do agree he is ruining the sport though. This is a mad dictator, never ever let this man get poloitical power

Maybe its time we fans formed an F1 union, we could call it the F'ing fan union and we can decide which group to support (here is a hint it won't be Max). I follow formula 1 to see the cars from the great manufacturers not to hear about max's latest drama or bernie's political views. This sport was at its best when factory and privateer teams competed against each other. All privateers won't fly.

I'm sure Max and Bernie aren't stupid enough to let the current teams go, it's the money that has the last say. Anyhow if FOTA breaks away they have the audience, support and funds to create a new league while the FIA and F1 have nothing but a bunch of useless contracts.

And if there's a new league, we can also choose the venues - bring back Montreal!

Maxican standoff? Yeah... He can dictate the rules, but teams dictate the money. F1 is about money and tradition, so Max must lose. Just like the other Nazis long time ago...

Does MM remeber all the things that F1 tested and use which a standard in nearly all cars in the world.eg traction control. I bet you the car he drives has it/
