This model Meg marks a new low in Renault design flair. The regular hatch looks as if 2 different teams, located in a different time zones were responsible for designing the ends and the middle. The tourer completes that look by adding a third team for the rear end! What a mess. The Scenic is, if anything, even worse.

This would be a great car for Nissan to bring to America. Compete with the Toyota Venza. I like the car, stylish yet attaiable.

AMEN TO THAT. Let's see is Nissan has the guts to break from the pact. Besides, if I have so see yet another stupid crossover being introduced... As for jasb - to each their own. I understand your dislikes. Again, because so many American and Asian brands start to follow the same design themes, I'm bored with them. At least this look different. I actually like it too. Of course, if I had my choice on Euro wagons to import to US, the three that I would want to see brought over are Ford Mondeo, Opel Insignia and Alfa 159.

This car has to have the best looking rear end in the small estate class! Now classy looks can come in a practical package.

A month ago I had new Megane for driving as a replacement car for while my own Laguna was taken away for maintenance. If Megane's first make was so cool to drive (especially in winter snowy time it was just fantastic) and in some strange way made you happy to own this car then driving that new one was a little a bit patronizing, like doing something abnormal. Despite everything made much better, interior quality, work out of details and so on, the strange lifelessness of the car and alienated ease of driving ruined all pleasure. Depersonalized but ambitious cosmopolitanism of design destroyed the rests.

Sorry Renault, you are out of competition by still making cars in this class with no grill in the front and with hatch looking tails. This car does not say anything to me, so ordinary.

A Chrysler 300 would be a right thing then. It is a sedan (Germans call it a "Stufenheck") and has that grill - very competitive, you should suggest it to Ferrari. The mid-rear engine is not a problem, look at R8 - what a grill, it cools the boot!
