Thats true Clement. The Zondas engine is a custom 7.3 V12 TT made only for Pagani by AMG. They could source AMG for engine supply but i don't know if that would happen.
Wrong place, this is a reply to Clement just below.
to be honest, i am not sure if Pagani should enter F1, they build excellent supercar no doubt about it, but they don't even build their own engine, what do you think??
I doubt Pagani will enter F1 but would be good. But right now, as Ferrari mentioned in their statement a couple days ago, F1 is slowly becoming GT3 with all the private teams and the FIA clearly giving these small teams more priority than well established auto manufacturer teams.
When I read this headline I immediately concluded that F1 is in such dire straits that Max Mosley and Bernie Ecclestone were being forced to enter their own teams...
I guess it would be good to see both names racing again, although it means little given that they really have nothing in common with their heritages.
Porsche already entered F1 in the early 60s. They won the pole and their first race by a wide margin. After that they quite to focus on more street oriented racing and their road cars.
did they put theses stupid and unfair regulations JUST to bring their own racing team out again??? i feel like i already know who is going to be next year's brown...
Alfa Romeo... fiat looks in good shape and the partnership for developement of the 8C with ferrari could mean more than the production car... MAserati is another name that is been out of F1 for a long time... they top they did is the MC12 for GT races... so here they are 2 possible candidates...
Pagani!!!! ha ha what an Idea!!! ha ha ha how in this world he can pull out a F1 team out of his sleeve???
