Possibly a road-going version of the ALMS RS Spyder as the "next GT or Porsche supercar". But I hope if they do produce another supercar on the level of the CGT, that it will be an all-new design with a NA V-10 or 12 and go up against the upcoming McLaren.
Oh and this Gemballa is disgusting. By disgusting I mean more than sick!

Kind of hard to replace the GT, any way you look at it, it was amazing. And it looked great, too. I guess there's the GT2 to appease some of the fans, but I hope that Porsche will make a new GT. Once they pull their heads out of their 455es and realize that they are waisting time with the other niches they will make a new GT. So probably never, then.

Only 670HP?? Even a 1000HP improvement wouldn't justify this ridiculous price tag.

That bodykit is sick! Not sure if it is worth the price, but I'm like WOW! And porsche really does need to make another Carrera GT that doesn't burst into flames all the time.

Stop tuning this car, do they really think that owners let this happen to it? It's not build for about 3/4 years, so the only thing they do is screw up the existing ones. And then it isn't even faster, I don't think it is more beatiful also. Gemballa and all the other tuning companies should not tune supercars, at least not from the outside, it looks awful!

I agree 100%. These cars should be left untouched. They are beautiful the way they are. Tuners just ruin them.

I wonder why Porsche stopped making this.. Give it up. Its had its glory days and if you have to remake it, why keep the ugliest gear lever on the planet??

They were having trouble selling them. The market was flooded with supercars, they did end up producing and selling over 1300 of them if I recall.

it was meant to be a limited production car, they built 1270 and then ended production because airbag regulation changed in the US, where they sold most of them.
you are maybe confusing the CGT with the trouble MB had with selling their SLR.
