Wow, only 5 years too late. Other manufacturers are rolling out their EV and hybrid models now, and Chrysler is only just starting to develop them.

Actually, Chrysler has been developing electric and hybrid platforms for years. I had a customer that was developing battery technology for Chrysler for hybrid and electric vehicles well over five years ago. Unfortunately, it appears those platforms were placed on the backburner, and now they are behind the curve. They were supposed to release hybrid versions of some of their SUVs, but I'm not sure if that happened.

Chrysler isn't talking about just starting to put out a model or two. Chrysler seems to be seeking quality, reliable, durable and practical electric vehicles. Basically they're taking this unique moment in their history to completely revolutionize themselves.
