Rinspeed has introduced a new series of artwork meant for both "car and graphic art enthusiasts." The series of prints are split up into five categories based on their concepts: iChange, sQuba, zaZen, Bedouin, and eXasis. There is also a sixth, "Rinspeed" section with a few other designs based on their E2 Fiat 500.
In total, the RinspeedArt website makes over 80 prints available, most limited to only 20 copies. The giclée prints will be produced on either art paper, canvas, or Plexiglas. Because the images were digitally designed, they can be printed in a variety of sizes to fit the customer's needs.
Rinspeed's slogan for this selection is, "Design your life with your passion." The images pay homage to the Italian Futurism art movement of the early 1900s. Artists Ottavio Di Chio, Chiara Gasparetto, Luca Imerito, Andrea Mariani, Filippo Ponzetti, Serena Zanello and Veronica Servente paid particular attention to two points in the movement's manifesto:
- We declare that the splendor of the world has been enriched by a new beauty: the beauty of speed. A racing automobile with its bonnet adorned with great tubes like serpents with explosive breath.
- We want to sing the man at the wheel, the ideal axis of which crosses the earth, itself hurled along its orbit.
The prints are all made in Switzerland, but don't think that makes them expensive. A quick search through the website shows that the many cost between €100 and €200. Printing on canvas or Plexiglass can add quite a bit more to the price, especially when the size is increased. You can check out all the prints at www.rinspeedart.com.

The Rinspeed Official Graphic Art Collection: Design your life with your passion
Rinspeed artworks are contemporary fine art giclée prints, reproduced on museum quality media. The Rinspeed graphic art collection is based on the Rinspeed's concept cars and features five collections: iChange Art, sQuba Art, eXasis Art, zaZen Art and Bedouin Art. The collection also features art subjects based on the E2 Fiat 500 concept developed by Rinspeed. The subjects interpret Rinspeed concept cars through a variety of artistic styles which highlight the message and concept of each car.
On www.rinspeedart.com, graphic art and car enthusiasts can purchase a particular artwork on-line by choosing three different media of reproduction: canvas, art paper and Plexiglas. They can also choose the size in which to receive their artwork to perfectly fit their interiors. Each artwork is a bespoke creation, tailored to the individual order.

Rinspeed artworks are realized in open, limited or unique editions. All artworks are accompanied by a watermarked certificate of authenticity - with a holographic seal on both the certificate and the artwork - guaranteeing their originality and collector value. Homage to the 100th anniversary of Futurism
On occasion of its 100th anniversary, the Rinspeed graphic art collection dedicates five subjects, each of which limited to 20 units, as a homage to the Futurist school, and in particular to points 4 and 5 of its manifesto:
4. We declare that the splendor of the world has been enriched by a new beauty: the beauty of speed. A racing automobile with its bonnet adorned with great tubes like serpents with explosive breath..
5. We want to sing the man at the wheel, the ideal axis of which crosses the earth, itself hurled along its orbit.
Five limited edition subjects which glorify speed and mechanical passion. For visionaries only. Future included.

The rest is a matter of taste and personally, I don't think cars and Miesian Barcelona Ottomans go well together, unless you're aiming for that bachelor pad kind of look...
I don't think modern cars can be art. They are too complex and hi-tech already. Classic cars can be due to their simplicity, and you can create new designs to go with it. Those are just my 2 cents though.
By that definition a car can't be art, but I agree, the debate about what is art and what isn't might be beyond our 2cents worth.
I know that there are criteria by which art is classified as good or bad and they have nothing to do with personal taste.
"We can forgive a man for making a useful thing as long as he does not admire it. The only excuse for making a useless thing is that one admires it intensely. All art is quite useless" - Oscar Wilde
