This looks almost the same as the Polo from about 7 years ago............already looking dated. Not good VW. Make more cars as exciting as the Scirocco

Don't think even the Scirocco pardons VW as of late. Looks bland. Seat 'Bocanegra' going some good things in the looks dept, all courtesy of previous Lambourghini design boss. I think VW have lost the plot design-wise. All personal opinion of course.

1.2 TSI. If that is true it will equals as having low emissions, low maintenance, and good performance. Hope to see street prices for those models.

after bmw announced 1.35 and 1.8 lt turbo machines. and the engines on the market like mercedes 1.6lt kompressor and tsi it feels like we are going to hear engines with volumes less than 1.0lt on b segment vehicles.

Goodbye to the 1.4 TSI (turbo non-supercharged) powerplant - you didn't last long. The 1.6 TDI fills the gap left by the 1.9 TDI at last. This should be good for VW AG, and particularly for the SEAT Ibiza, which had the one major issue of engines lacking in refinement and power. This should change that, hopefully.

The launch of 1.2 TSI does not necessarily mean the replacement of 1.4 TSI 122/125 hp. Maybe in the future we might see a 1.2 TSI supercharged with 125 hp, but for smaller cars like Polo. I don't think in heavier cars like Jetta, for example, a super-charged 1.2 TSI will replace the non-supercharged 1.4 TSI.

I think 1,2 TSI is a replacement for 1,6 8V 102 hp, not for 1,4 TSI.

Why are they staying with a 1.6 diesel ? the 1.2 would do just fine without the bad particles.
