I kinda liked it at the begining but I think it already looks dull now, and I haven't even seen a single one on the street yet !

Toyota builds more quality in the cars? Have you ever compared a Yaris interior with a Polo interior? No, I don?t think you have...

the polo is like a Brioni suit. it seems a bit boring at first sight but it suits u perfectly and is a terrific companion over the years.

This is so true... I got to appreciate this fact when trying to relplace our stolen Polo... Nothing quite fits so well.... But then, that is the art of buying a car: Get one that suites your needs best.

Hopefully the new GTI will ride better than the current model. It has rocks for shock absorbers.

The new Polo is a huge step forward as far as technology and design are concerned compared to the old model. Its design is not as exciting as the new Fiesta's, but looks like having somehow another target than Ford's supermini. Anyway, VW already has 13,000 orders, even if the car goes on sale later on, at the end of June. So this means people like it, even if the price is quite high at the beginning (being a new VW model). The GTI will probably come with the 1.4 TSI 180 hp (including the 7 speed DSG option).

Just an ordinary car. Sorry but VW has turned into THE company that builds the most boring cars on Earth. P.S. I spent two years working @ a VW dealership, so I should know, japanese cars are faaaar ahead in terms of quality my friends!

You should also tell about this to those 1.4 million people from the Earth who bought a boring VW group car in the first quarter of this year, making VW the second world largest automaker and narrowing the gap from Toyota to less than 370,000 units. Well, my friend, you probably work now for a Japanese dealership, being such a connaisseur of the huuuge difference between VW and Japanese cars in terms of quality.

No, I don't work for any dealership. I know you wish I did ;) Good try though. I just expressed my oppinion and you are free not to agree with it. And btw congrats to all the 1.4 mil. customers! I'm happy for VW, Audi and company ;)

Blergh, come on. Look at that interior, it oozes simplistic style, balance and sportiness. I love it! Sure it looks just like the Golf but who cares, its miles better looking than the old one. Can't wait to see what they do with the GTI.
