Hennessey Performance Engineering has unveiled four new tuning packages for Cadillac's highly regarded CTS-V that produces 556 hp and 551 lb-ft of torque in stock form.

The base V600 package includes a supercharger pulley upgrade kit, a K&N air filter, and new engine management software. These tweaks allow the V600 CTS-V to produce 610 hp and 605 lb-ft of torque which enables the car to dash from 0-60 mph in 3.7 seconds before hitting a top speed of 195 mph.

For owners wanting a tad more performance, Hennessey offers a V650 package that boosts the engine's output to 650 hp and 641 lb-ft of torque. This package comes with everything mentioned in the V600 kit as well as 4" cold air induction system, stainless steel headers, a 3" stainless steel exhaust system, high flow catalytic converters, and an upgraded intercooler heat exchanger.

An insane V700 package includes everything from the V650 package as well as a new high performance camshaft and new high flow cylinder heads. With the V700 package, the CTS-V produces 700 hp and 701 lb-ft of torque. This allows the car to rip from 0-60 mph in just 3.1 seconds and reach a top speed of 211 mph.

Hennessy also offers a V800 package that features a custom twin-turbo system, external wastegates, blow-off valves, and a high-performance fuel system with upgraded injectors. Other changes include the addition of a Corsa stainless steel catback exhaust system, high flow cylinder heads, an upgraded camshaft, and new engine management software. Thanks to all these changes, the V800 package produces 800 hp and 780 lb-ft of torque.

In the US the stock CTS-V comes with 556hp engine, but in my country (UAE) it comes with a 605hp. But it'll not beat the Bullit, Rocket & Hurrican.

However that 800hp engine will ruin the car, it'll not live long.

I agree the engine will ruin this car not in the way you think though. There have been numberous complaints from customers about Hennessey's work as fraudulent. Not getting what they paid for nor what he claims they car can do. I can't believe this guy is still in business.

I think I'll stick with a slightly fettled Jaguar XF-R. Get it at the dealer with the same slight modifications done to the Bonneville Salt-flat runner ( so 600bhp approx ) so that it can do 360km/h. Alternatively however, I think we should wait until the possible HSV GTS-R ( think of HSV as Australia's 'AMG' ) cause that's meant to have the LS-9 supercharged V8 with same specs as the Corvette ZR-1. Yummy.

This touches on what arnold812 said above about Hennessey. I have heard tons of negitive things about the company in regards to ripping of customers. Taking parts from one vehicle and putting them on another car. I actually work with a guy who has a 2005 CTS V and he wanted to get the Hennessey converision done but after researching the company he came up with ablot of more cons than pros. So he ended up sending the car to Mallet and they did a great Job. It just took almost a year to get the vehicle back.

Either the Cadillac CTS coupe or the 2010 Jeep Cheerokee SRT8 will be my next car, if they ever come out. If not a Toyota Prius will have to do, yawn.
