Great news! This is basically the same old dull Sandero made to look like a off roader.
.....Er, nevermind.

as I've read somewhere it has two versions: one FWD and one AWD. The price tag for the FWD will start from 10000 euros and the AWD from 12000, the AWD system being taken from Nissan Qashqai, but the WCF guys didn't mentioned these things

Looks better then that Cross-Polo, but however cars like this don't sell to good anywhere.

correct... and even in this article they've specified the number of Stepways sold in 2 countries in almost 1/2 year = 2700. But who knows... with a starting price of 10-12000 euros is much cheaper than its competition so... only time will tell...

yes, 2,700 units is a very small number... but we must keep in mind that argentina is a really small market, and renault is not a very popular brand in brazil... on the other hand, the 'pseudo off road' versions of the vw fox (the 'crossfox') and the fiat palio, doblo and idea (the 'adventure' versions) do sell like hot cakes.

Here we go. Canselling the Alpine revival and other RWD projects, concentraton to the "volume" production and slowing down the development of new petrol engine generation in order to preserve that privilege to Nissan is degrading the Renault. Sad as it is. its visible to outsiders.
