The car still looks good, but hybrid? Oh what the hell? Do it, the car world is going crazy anyway.

Maybe a performance hybrid with the electric motor running the front wheels?

I'm not sure its a smart idea. I mean it's great to have that in a sports car but the people buying a sports car want speed and handling and are not too concerned with gas and someone considering a hybrid is not concerned about handling and speed. Why get a hybrid sports car just make a new SYLVIA and give it good fuel economy. Done deal. But hey I applaud them.

That is a pretty good idea, now lets put it in a good looking car. I think for hybrids to really take off the premium needs to come down. Or we should adopt another fuel type, i like hydrogen. All we need is for petrol stations to start supplying it so that the cars will be made.

hyprid... in that.... lol why ? its a "sports" car. not a hollywood prius. i say leave it with gas. if nissan really wants to make a hybrid then release a new car or make the new pathfinder a hybrid.

Like many of you mentioned above " WHY " I agree, its a sports car. Its designed and engineered for performance not economy. If you want good economy car and want a Nissan look at a Sentra or something. Thats like Nissan releasing a hybrid Skyline. Not the best desision on Nissan's part
