So the "pedestrians" must be extras, right? They wouldn't perform a car chase on an open set.

nope not extras, this is yesterdays news read about it in 2 other articles yesterday they were not extras. i wish i was the guy who got hit by the lamp post id be rich.

Poor Ferrari. Looking at the state of it, I don't think that is going to buff out.
Next time, get a 4wd supercar (e.g. Gallardo/R8) or just do it when it isn't wet.

Does that car's ABS is off? when the stability control is turned off disables also the abs? i see the whells locking and no intervention of the ESP. I know that some race drivers usually disable ABS.

That is some very bad publicity for Ferrari. He wasnt even going that fast and lost control, maybe the fact that NY streets are so uneven and bumpy had something to do with it.
