I don't know what the fuss is about. The FIA ultimately governs ALL motorsport so Ferrari upsets the FIA at its peril. Apart from which, Ferrari are cut ENORMOUS slack in F1 and everyone knows it. They're biting the hand that feeds them.

The FIA does not sanction or govern the 24hrs of Le Mans, or any of the Le Mans series around the world. However, I don't see what di Montezemolo starting Le Mans has anything to do with Ferrari's beef with the FIA. Note to WCF editor: Ferrari president's last name would be Di Montezemolo - it's incorrect without the Di

Formula 1 is a joke and it's getting worse. i would like to see factory GT racing. Ferrari vs Porsche vs Corvette vs Viper vs BMW vs Aston Martin, etc. , all factory teams would be great.

It's already happening in ALMS GT2. The Viper and Aston are not works teams, but the others are as close to full-on factory effort as it gets these days.

Di Montezemolo is a humble man, he talk to Mosley's like.

How someone can be humble when he runs Ferrari? Anyway I keep my opinion that Mosley should step down.

That's a bit of a stretched ego on Ferrari's part. Sure, Ferrari is a symbol of automotive racing heritage, but everyone is under the FIA, and everyone should abide by the rules. On the other hand, why cap the budget, if Ferrari wants to spend money on development, how is that going to affect newcomers in joining F1? Spending a lot of cash is not synonimous with winning championships. First, the cars are regulated as is. If Ferrari wants to use resources in development, I think the whole sport and the automotive industry would benefit from their R&D.

the dirty, max nazi orgie mosley is all to do with this. who asked him to give ferrari guaranteed rights in the first place. he was so desperate to fend off the breakaway series and offered ferrari something no auto manufacturer could refuse. orgies's dirty games are revealing itself. true racing teams are struggling to survive while all the profited tv rights go to those dirty greedy horrors who still keep to thier throne. something needs to be done, tv rights should be split between teams and track organizers fairly.
