Zenvo ST1 in Video - First Danish Supercar

If you read the news posted on WCF daily, you probably know about the 1104 horsepower Zenvo ST1, Denmark's first domestically produced supercar.  A publication there, Bil Magasinet, has posted video of their test drive with the beautiful machine that can cross Denmark in under 20 minutes.

Before we tell you about the video, we'd like to remind you of this car's amazing specs.  Using a rear-mounted turbo- and super-charged 7.0-liter V8, Zenvo's engineers brought this car up over 1100 hp while producing an amazing 1430 Nm at around 4500 rpm.  In just three seconds, you can bring the car from a standstill to 100 km/h.  Figure out a way around the electronic limiter, set for 375 km/h (233 mph), and we're pretty sure you can avoid arrest on almost any highway in the world.

Of course, no car built in icy Scandanavia should be without limited slip differential.  This car is no different, featuring a hydraulically-powered LSD.  The driver takes control of the machine with a six-speed manual gearbox.

The test driver's "woo-hoo" at about a minute into the video says all that you can say.  Although the car is so powerful, he says the handling is, "completely undramatic."  So easy to drive this car is, that despite the 375 km/h top speed, the driver says it is "almost like driving a small hatchback ..."  Surely this is an exaggeration, right?

Of the full three minutes of video, perhaps the last shot is best, displaying the car speeding away from the camera.  Although just a prototype, engineers fully expect to have the Zenvo ST1 ready for its debut at Le Mans this summer.

I think with a 1100hp and 1430Nm it should be capable of doing more than +240mph

1430Nm of torque? and the gear box can handle it? with 6 gears?

Mercedes, take note on how its done, and take the torque limiter's off the 65's and put in a 6speed...

Damn I hobe this thing runs on Tuborg, Carlsberg or Ren Pilsner or something like that:-P the gas in Denmark is way too expensive. but on the other hand if you got 16 million to buy the car, you don't care about the gas prices

There is ZERO R8 in there. It's a fascinating piece of machinery, atleast from this aspect. It sounds amazing.

I hate that there are a few users on WCF which see an r8 design everywhere, even in Alfa Romeo’s MiTo, guys get a life and if u see the r8 design again don’t mention that please.

and further more 'M' (very mature name by the way) people are entitled to an opinion providing its not offencive in anyway so if someone wants to say it looks like an R8 they can say it looks like an R8 so why dont u get a life and allow people to discuss car design however they like

Looks awesome!! The sound in itself is just beautiful! Listen to it roar. Woah! Did I see a navigation system on this car or were my eyes mistaken? That would be a first on this kind of car...

Yes it is a navigations system, you have seen. Try zenvos homesite, and you can see few photos of Zenvos interior. it has also head-up display. It's a luxury sportscar.(;

What is the new thing that they provide, all the technologies are already exist. They only make a new design and made the assembly, that is it. Even though they designed it similar to R8 from overall design point of view.

They even did not tell where did they get the engine from.
