it is remarkable to note at how a car designed with basically good proportions and devoid of fancy gewgaws could remain as iconic and contemporarily fresh even as this car dates back to the fifties .
it would really be terrific if this car outfit could turn out a refreshed version of the classic Mercedes- Benz 230/450SLs .
utilizing today's modern automotive technologies .

Classic on top, modern underneath. You can't ask for more than that.

That is the way all cars should be built, but why the crazy power outputs, why not build budget versions that everyone with an eye for a classic car can drive, and not just the rich?

Just to be clear, this is a CG rendition, right? This car doesn't exist. In much the same way that the contmporary Lister Jaguar I dreamt about last night doesn't exist. And in the same way that Bentley thing doesn't exist.
Can we all have a go and making stuff up and getting column inches?

I never thought the day would come that I would see green tinted glass on a 300SL.

Amazing. It brings the same kind of feeling the new beetle brought back more than a decade ago.

FYI, I just emailed Mr. Alonso for the price, and he told me that the price would be around 200K Euro range.

Is mercedes-Benz backing up this design? Or is it a rogue project using the classic Mercedes design and name for their own benefit? Just curious. Tin Kongslie Portland, Oregon USA
