Are there really so many people who want to tow with a MINI that it warrrants the engineering investment to find a way to do it?

It seems frivolous at first, but yes, you'd be surprised how many people use them. Wait until the day comes that you need one, and then you'll understand how useful they are.

I wish Mini would make an offroader, like the Bowler Wildcat with even more horsepowerand AWD (obviously), or burning hot hatch to match the Focus RS and then some. But the tow hook's a start.
