the stupid front grill is ugly, boring, unproportional and too big... in fact the entire audi fleet is freaking boring...

What can you expect from a BMW fan? "The entire Audi fleet is freaking boring". Very clever, indeed... Anyway, in those pictures it is not the Audi Q3, but the Audi Cross Coupe Quattro Concept, on which basis Q3 will be bulit.

Just a reminder, the photos attached above are the Cross Coupe quattro concept which debuted in Shanghai 2007. The article has been edited to reflect this.

Someone please correct me if I am wrong, I thought that because of Nissan's lawsuit against Audi for using "Q", Audi wasn't allowed to use Q3? They were only able to use Q7 and Q5, but after that they had to change the name? If so, any idea what the new name will be?

Germans need to build increasingly smaller SUVs to the point they build them in such a way that their height is greater than the length or width... Also, if they keep that grill for the production version, it will serve two purposes: make people puke and act as a puke container if need to barf after seeing it! That's progress through engineering, as Audi says!!!

Audi needs to push the envelope, these 'new' designs are aging very quickly. Why is Audi holding back???

Someone please correct me if I am wrong, but I thought under the terms of the Nissan lawsuit against Audi, they were only allowed to name the Q7 and Q5, with a Q designation. For all the others, in this case the Q3, would have to be named something else? What will the Q3 be named?

I don't think nissan has a case against audi since they won the case with bmw for using M on their cars. They can't patent single letters as name like bmw tried.

One look at the BMX X1 and you realise it's another boring BMW. I have already expessed my interest for a Q3 with my dealer. What I has seen so far look fresh and interesting, although it takes queues fron the spectacularly underwhelming X6.
