The 2009 Mosler MT900 GTR XX has finally gone on sale in Europe. The company's 20th anniversary car passed Euro4 emissions tests, as well as quality checks performed by TUV Rheinland. Once the official word was handed down on both crash testing and electro magnetic compatibility testing, European and UAE sales were approved.

Delivery of the 600hp car to these markets will begin later this year, although by now it is actually the company's 21st year in operation. In spite of this, they will still keep the "XX" Roman-numeral designation, to mark the 20th anniversary edition. Based on the MT900 GTR, the car should do better than the first version's 3.1 second 0-100 km/h time and 340 km/h top speed.

Weighing in at 2450 pounds (1111 kg), the car gets its power from a Corvette LS7 engine. When it was announced, the company had said they wanted to reduce the weight further with carbon Recaros, KW suspension, and MOVIT ceramic brakes in addition to the use of composite carbon fiber and Kevlar. In a press release, the company says that the result is a car that "allows the driver to brake deeper, carry higher speeds into and through the corners, and accelerate harder." Sounds good.

Sounds really good.

In fact, the engineering that went into this street legal road burner allows the car to pull 1.1g, even on street tires. This comes thanks to the double-wishbone suspension, adjustable shocks, and adjustable anti-roll bars.

Pricing on the car is listed at €250,000, although it is unclear if that includes taxes. The car may be ordered in Europe and the Emirates through Mosler Deutschland.

It is about time Mosler produced a street legal car, eh? I cannot wait to read some test drive reviews about this beast. Still as ugly as sin, nonetheless.

You people that fawn over this car need to do your research. The Mosler MT900 is nothing more than a vehicle to keep a billionaire ego maniacs name out in public and use as gifts to his lawyers or enticements for the people who he has business dealings with. There is a reason why shameless self-promoter Mosler has purposely put people in charge who have never even had jobs before let alone experience in the auto industry, and only hires temporary 10.00 an hour crackheads and drunks to put it together the four times a year he needs one built. There is a reason why he lets the (mis)management team throw money away at a rate that would shock a corpse and purposely allow the bizarre situations that have poisoned the facility to go unchecked. The Mosler factory is mostly a tax write-off, money sheltering company and a place to put friends of his that cant function in real job situations. Do you really think someone is going to pay 350k for a car that the finishing on is not even up to the TaTa with all the Lambos, Ferraris, GT41's and other cars supercars that are out there ? The Mosler name is worthless to the reputable local bodyshops and suppliers. Real car people in that area know what a joke the 'organization' is and avoid it like a case of the clap. The car isnt EPA or DOT approved and will never be. Warren doesnt want it to be or it would be handled by now. Do your research, every time you give this glorified kit/gifting car press time you are perpetuating the scam further. If you have any reason to think this is untrue, why dont you ask the revolving door of current and former employees to come forth with their experiences with the Mosler organization ? If you do, alert Jerry Springer where he will be able to get some new material for his show.
