This Brilliance company should be a Chinese one. The above EV is a copy of Volkswagen Up! They seem to use the same colour as the original.

Except that this is a lot bigger than the Up!

My first reaction was also that this is a "Big Up!", but I also see some Citroen styling cues. China could easily propel themselves into a dominant position in world markets with some clever electric vehicles. It can't be hard for them -- south east Asia knows it stuff when it comes to electronics and battery technology.

Blatant rip-off of the Up! China - be original please. Unoriginality will hinder your growth.

I too can see more than a hint of UP! (on steroids) ... but that's not a bad thing IMHO ... the overall design looks good ... would like to see a video clip of exactly how those interesting door mechanisms work in the real world.

I like it, i think that it is pretty cool - shame though that it is an Up rip off

Styling elements used in VW Up! are highly visible in this automobile, too. I personally don't like how Chinese car brands are "inspired" by European car brands in general. I guess there's enough potential in China to develop more unique cars.

yeah, i can clearly see the up in that design, but maybe it has a lot to do with the color choice...
